The birdcage album

I have finished up my birdcage album that i was lucky enough to win the kit for from Scraptapestry from Naomis blog. The kit was just sooo beautiful and i still have quite a bit left over from it - I challenged myself to try and use JUST what was in the kit - i ended up adding just a few flowers and another maya rd sheer! I was really really happy with the end  result though!! (Sorry all the pics are prob messed up a bit!)

Some more layouts to share!!!

Yep i have some more layouts to share - and some more news - Wooohooo I got 2 layouts picked up by scrapbooking memories magazine this week!! Sooo stoked! The skipping at the zoo one - so i have to take that one down - and also one of Mitchy - 5 & 1/2 - the one a few posts down with the robot papers! Have to take that one down too!! heeheee!!! So i also have one more kool thing to share - I won a kit from the lovely Naomis blog - She has opened up the most beautiful kit club called Scraptapestry - Well today i received the kit i won in the mail - OMG!!! Its sooo completely DEVINE! IT was wrapped up sooo beautifully - and the amount you receive in this kit is just amazing - I TOTALLY recommend it so go check it out - Scraptapestry. So I also have some layouts to share with you - One of me and my nan - I got this photo printed a few weeks ago and have been trying to think how to scrap it - and well just went for it!!! Im quite happy with how it came out too cause i was pretty hard on myself with this one cause it was of my nan!  Now the next one is a sketch layout i did for one of this months Inspired Blueprints sketches. I quite liked it when i saw it so had a go and LOVE this layout that came out - I was just sooo happy with it! Funny story about the photo used for this one - we were at the zoo and i was trying to take some photos of the otters swimming around in the water - they looked mad but gosh they were super fast!!!! Anyway Alicia called me over and all the kids went over and sat there in front of the Koi tank and wanted their photo taken there! It was so cute! I Love my babies!
So the next layout is another zoo one! Me and my handsome Mitchy and the baby elephant!! No we didnt get to go near it unfortunately - but Jono bought me a stuffed elephant from the gift shop and Mitchy decided he had to have a baby elephant - like mummy! Such a sweetie he is - I cant believe he will be 6 in a week and a half!! SCARY! So my last layout is my beautiful princess - Another zoo layout! (I just love the photos i got!! LOL! They are such cute ones of my kids!!! ) I just LOVE these collage press sweet shoppe papers - they are DEVINE! I love the photo of Alicia too - she is my angel!!! 
So what have i been up to - Well i havent had a car this week as our other car broke down so its needed! LOL! Monday and Tuesday i stayed home with Alicia - Wednesday though i walked her to preschool and then decided to walk to the shopping centre - which is like a 5 min drive from my house - OMG was a lot longer to walk let me tell you - and then i had gotten groceries and decided to just push the trolley home and walked all the way home pushing the trolley!! LOL!!! I felt like such a dag doing it - but gosh it did feel good getting some exercise like that!! haha! I miss my volleyball! I used to play 3 times a week - now i dont play at all! ANYTHING! I feel so lazy sometimes. So today my lovely cousin come and picked me up and we went and scrapped at her house! It felt good to get out but i hated having to get picked up - I am so reliant on my car now! Its bad!! I have been getting stuck into my housework though being home so much - Havent even been letting myself scrap much cause i feel too guilty!! HAHA! Well anyway Im off to bed now - Gotta get up early in the morning and get the boys off to school! Thanks for checkin in! :)

The newest Stuck?! Sketch is up.....

And here is my creative team layout - Really enjoyed doing this one too!!! Huge congrats to our Stuck?! boss Sara who welcomed little Max into the world this week!! And she was still able to get todays post up on time!!! LOL! Been pretty flat out this week - Jonos crappy car broke down so we have been sharing and been super busy going out when i can! I have also been scrapping up a storm - I have 2 more to share which i will share in my next post - and im working on another layout of my nan at the moment too! I seem to have lots of yummy mojo flowing at the moment though - which i cant complain about!! LOL!! Well anyway - i have hurt my wrist somehow over the last few days and its sore and aching while im typing so im gonna stop all this typing! I will be back in the next couple of days to update again with some more layouts!!! Dont forget to go check out Stuck?! Another layout to share!

Wooohooo - Yep i have another layout to share finally!! heehee!! I have been scrapping away madly this past week or so - Just cant share the other 3 layouts i have done yet as they are all for Stuck?! sketches - Go check it out - the next sketch should be up in the next few days too so i will be able to share another one then! :) Anyway - this layout is for the August 123 challenge - Use more than 5 staples (I used 9! lol), something metal on your layout - the love embellishment, and also a blurry photo - I LOVE this layout how it turned out - i think because i love the photo and i love the memory - (And how yummy is the October Afternoon papers! In love with them big time!! Ive also done another OA layout for one of my Stuck?! sketches and i LOVE that one too - I need tons more of their papers now ive decided!! LOL!) Me and my kids were actually skipping through the zoo on our way back up to the sky safari - Jono was back a bit behind us and took this snap - blurry and has other people in it (Dont you love how i covered the ladies face in the pic!! PMSL!) but I love it all the same!! ITs me and my babies havin fun!
So what else have i been up to - Not much really - Me and the kids have all had the flu - i had the boys hom fri, mon and tues - they went back today and they had their athletics carnival and hot dog day!! They were sooo stoked and i had gotten them new sports uniforms and sports shoes so they looked so handsome too!! heeheee!! Anyway its super late - and me being the night owl i am is still up but if i dont make myself go to bed soon then i just might sleep in later in the morning and i dont wanna do that - Kid free day tomorrow!! hahahah! My very first Stuck?! sketch!!!!!

Yep my very first layout on the creative team for Stuck?! has gone up on the weekend - I really LOVED doing this sketch - got me thinking and i had a ball with it!!! Let me know what you think! OHHH and go check out Stuck?! The 1st sketch for August is up with a fabbo prize tooo!!! Stuck?! sketches
So what have i been up to since i posted last!! Hmmmm - Well i will start with the easiest thing!! We went to the zoo on sunday! I had a ball - I got to play with my camera!! LOL! The kids also had a blast - they love the zoo just as much as me i think heeeheee!! Matt took his camera aswell and took some gorgeous little pics with it - I will be getting some of his printed too i think!! heeheee! I love seeing his perspective when he takes pics - everyone sees different things through the lens of the camera and i love seeing different outcomes!  Mitchy will be getting a VERY much wanted camera for his birthday - coming up at the end of August - He has been wanting one for AGES! and i finally found one last week and have bought it and put it away for his bday - i cant wait to see his face when he opens it up!! heeeheee!!! I cant believe he will be 6 soon - gosh it just goes so fast! Then i will have an 8,6 & 4 yr old!! Spaced them out well there didnt i! Ummm what else have i been up to - Me and Alicia both got our hair cut last week (Photo included of the both of us on the skysafari!) - I also have mine a colour to get rid of the horrible greys that were shining thru!! I spent lots of last week shopping! haha! I got a tax bonus pay thing so i spent up on some new clothes for me and the kids, and lots of yummy scrappy stuff for me!!!! Paid a few bills and got them out of the way too! Couldnt have come at a better time! LOL! I really havent been up to much else - Caught up with a friend on the weekend that just got back from overseas - that was great too!! I am now knocked down by the flu again! So have spent much of today just resting and napping trying to re-energise! Especially for tomorrow - KID FREE DAY!! wooohoo!! My fave day of the week - pay day and kid free day!! LOL!!!
