So yesterday arvo after i FINALLY got home - I went out to feed my dog - and he doesnt even touch it - OK this is sooo not my dog - usually he is scoffing it before ive even got it all out! I sit with him for a while and think this isnt right - my dogs usually jumping all over me saying hello all excited - so i bring him inside for a while to keep an eye on him. Go do a few things and Alicia had let him back outside - so i go find him again and he is in the bushed throwing up. I think oh oh - I was thinking a tick or something like that. Bring him back in and he just gets worse - more throwing up - cant keep water down. Too late to go to the vet without paying an arm and a leg. So i take him over to see a friend - who knows a vet nurse. She thought it looked like a virus but if he started getting diarhoe then it was probably parvo virus. OK so im thinking this isnt too bad then - so long as he doesnt get the runs!! Well bout half an hour later - IT WAS HUGE!!! And really gross - And my heart sank. I rung a vet and asked for advice - he said not much they could do tonight anyway so take him to the vets in the morning. So off we go this morning - My poor puppy was looking sooo skinny and sad. It broke my heart. He has parvo. So i talk to the vet for ages and decide to keep him in there to get the best treatment he can - he is on a drip for fluids and receiving anti biotics. Had to pay a $500 deposit to leave him there and im looking at another $500 on top of that! (Those vets sure know how to charge dont they!!!) And there is a 50/50 chance he will make it. I was bawling by the time i left the vets. Leaving my poor puppy in a strange place - and he was in isolation because parvo is sooo infectious and lethal for dogs. Ive been missing him all day long and had to answer a ton of questions from the kids this arvo about where Sabah was and that he was really sick. They dont get it - which is cute but sad. Dont you just wish you could protect your kids from the hard things in life. Well in hindsight - i could have if i had gotten him vaccinated, it was one of those things i kept putting off - for when i had more money or when i paid this bill or that one! Well its sending me a lot more broke now!!! So if u have an unvaccinated puppy - please go get it vaccinated - cause its so heartbreaking seeing them sooo sick like Sabah is. Im just hoping they can fix my little puppy and he will be home soon jumping all over us and scoffing his food like his oldself! Anyway - I just wanted to vent that out and get it on here for my own records. 
So what have i been up to??? Been super busy!!! Babysat my nephews and niece on monday. Visiting my cousin the last 3 days - was helping her out moving some stuff and doing a few other things. On sunday me, Jono and the kids went for a walk around the bush near simmos beach at mac fields - i got some awesome pics of us all. Cant wait to get some printed! The heat lately has been driving me mental though - HOW HOT IS IT!!! I really really wish i had an aircon!!!
I cant believe how fast this year is already going - My biggest baby turns 8 next tuesday!!! how scary! Another 2 yrs and he will be hitting double figures! He is in yr 3 now at school. Him and Mitch both started at a new school this yr - just round the corner from our new house - They are both settling in fantastically too! Mitchy started in kindy. He is completely loving it too - He is really growing into an awesome little man - Even his confidence has improved since starting there! He doesnt even want me to walk him in the school to his class - he wants to walk in with matt without mum!! He is a big boy now!! Im like awwwww!!! But i love walking you in - no mum, i can do it myself! His teacher told me yesterday that he is an angel. Sits quietly and listens to everything he is told - can write his own name etc etc. I was sooo proud!!! Alicia also started at a new preschool - again one just around the corner and she has also settled in beautifully! She loves it! One of my friends sons goes there so she knew someone! She wants to go every day!!! Too bad she is only in for 2 days so far!! LOL!!! I think i may put her in some more though as she gets sooo bored with just mum as company! I love it though - getting my princess all to myself for a few days! LOL! 
So havent done much scrapping - dont have anything new to share although i have done one layout of my princess and my niece - just havent photographed it yet. I also have another layout in the works!! Got the bug a bit at the moment - just not the time! I have been craving to just sit and scrap all week!!! Anyway - Its nearly quarter past one and i have to get up early in the morning! I am trying to update this thing a bit more often!! I am gonna share a few photos!! Hope everyones coping ok in this yukky heat!!
