Hello from a melting me!!!

Man its nearly 10pm and im still melting!! This summer thing really sux!! Been super busy this week - Matt started school yesterday - Mitchy starts kindy on monday!! Alicia will also be starting at a new preschool next week too. I cant WAIT to get some me kid free time!!! I cant wait to have a few days like that!! And i plan to spend at least one scrapping!! I have been loving getting back into it - And i did some more shopping on Tuesday - Me, Jono and the kids went up to see Jonos brother for his bday so i decided i HAD to go in and see my old work - Superstore - And buy me some new goodies!! YUMMM!!! I was in heaven - I always loved that shop and even though they have moved since i worked there - I still love it!!! Had a great chat with Odette my old boss too - I really do miss working there! So i got some yummy sass lass stuff - and some yummy queen and co stuff, a few other bits and pieces! I cant wait to have a play with it - Which is probably what i should be doing now instead of blogging! I do have one layout to share - the one i did for the Snb DT call - which i missed out on :(. Love the LO i did for it though!! Got another one of Matt to go in the albums too!

Hmm so what else have i been up to - BBQ at my cuzs on the weekend - We all went and didnt get home until 1am! We were playing buzz quiz game!! LOL!! Jono won both games though!! Was great for a laugh though! spent the rest of the weekend at home just chilling out - trying to keep kool! I have to say i am a bit more of a homebody than i used to be - I guess not having your own home for a while will do that to you - I LOVE having my own place now!! I have done lots of shopping!! I am addicted to the shops! Love buying things for my house and for the kids! Just wish i had some more kid free time to shop! LOL!! Next week ;)!!! Anyway - dont have much more to report - Just wanted to update this thing a bit more often now!!

Yay Me!!!!

I am sooo very excited - I made the top 5 in the design team competition at scrapbook n bits!!! Sooo excited!!!! Now i madly have to scrap a LO before midnight friday and the winner will have the DT spot!! I would sooo love to get back on the team there - I really loved working with Karen and the gals on the forum are great and sooo friendly!! HUGE congrats to the other 4 ladies too - Im sure Karen will have the hardest time picking the winner!!!

Well anyway - I have scrapped another layout since i posted last - and i got a pic of another one to show off too!!! It was a canvas i did for my cuz Nikki. She loved it when i gave it to her - i nearly didnt cause i really liked it and wanted to keep it!! LOL!!! Dont u hate that part of scrapping pressies to give away! I have been super busy since i updated last too - Sunday i went over to my dads for a bbq for my nephews bday - That was pretty kool - The kids got to swim in the pool there - I got lots of pics!! Yummy food!! Lots of chatting!! It was pretty good! Tuesday i spent most of the day at my cousins house! The kids had a total ball!! jono was up the coast playing basketball and was staying up there for the night so me and the kids came home pretty late! Then yesterday i spent the afternoon babysitting my gorgeous nephew Riley! He is such a cutie - very quiet baby!! Me and my sister went shopping before she headed off to the hospital for an appointment and then me, my kids and Riley kept shopping for a bit then headed off for a drive! We went back to my house then over to see my cuz Nik - It was pretty funny cause Riley ould start bawling ever time he saw or heard Nik's voice! He was petrified of her - No idea why - She was trying to give him food and everything! Poor Nik!! Then we headed back to my sisters to hand him back over - he was just sooo cute and the kids spoilt him with attention!! I love watching them play and interact with their cousins!! They have never really had much to do with them in the past - One thing i am grateful for the move to Sydney for - My kids have gotten to know lots more of their family! And so have i - I finally feel like part of the family! I like that!

Hmmmm so what else has been up - Oh my lovely neighbours had a
HUGE domestic the other night in the middle of the road at like 2.30/3am - OMG u had to be friggin kidding me - I went out and was pretty shitty and told them off - How rude - who does that - inconsiderate if you ask me!!! Swearing at the top of their lungs - yelling from 2 houses up the road to the one across from me!! NOT HAPPY JAN!!!! Least after i told them off - they stopped yelling! I ended up being awake till 5am that nite!! Couldnt sleep after that and watched a movie - Butterfly Effect 2. Loved the first one and the second one was pretty bloody good too! OMG speaking of movies - I watched Twilight the other night - that was one really really good movie!! LOVED it! I also watched pineapple express tonight - made by the same people that made Knocked up - It was pretty funny too!! I quite liked it. I also got Juno tonight at late night shopping - I have been waiting for that to go a bit cheaper and it was today!! I really liked that one and wanted it on dvd too. I have a thing with collecting lots of dvds now! I have nearly filled up a whole stand! I used to just download them but i got lazy and i actually like to have the proper copies now too. I never used to bother cause the kids always got in to them and wrecked them - they know not to touch my movies now but!! HAHA!!

Up late with sore teeth :(

Yep im up late with a throbbing toothache! Im sooo over it - I was tempted to even pull them out myself - I really need to go to the dentist again but dentists are sooo scary to me!! It means PAIN! I should do something though cause this pain really does suck! So anyway - I got some mega scrap inspiration yesterday and completed my layout for a challenge over at scrapbook n bits for a new challenge over there called snatch n scrap -  One of the DT members picks a layout from the gallery and it gets scraplifted - well Toni chose the most gorgeous layout - and it inspired me straight away!! And here is what i came up with. I am really happy with how it turned out! Loving getting back into my scrapping! So i also said i was going to take pics of my scrapped canvases on my walls - Which i have done!! YAY!!! I will add them to this post too - One is of my little corner - I have filled those 2 walls pretty good and i just LOVE it - Its very inspiring as i sit in that corner when im scrapping too. Then i have the wall when you first walk in - theres 3 on that one (including the layout above - I got it straight on a canvas!) Then there is my note board - I did this board for a class for superstore when i was working there and i am always chaning the pics on there - but this is whats on there now - I also hang other 'important' things on there - beados creations my kids made, the paper dolls my cousins son made for me, the make and take we made at the Heidi Swapp night i went to at scraploot, etc etc! I love this board - my sister has put an order in for one when she gets her own house too!! LOL! I found a really big cork board in the reject shop and im tempted to upgrade to a bigger one now.

So what have i been up to this week - lots! I went over to my sisters house on thursday for my nephew Jacks bday - and im going to my dads for a BBQ for it again tomorrow (Well technically today!), Me and the kids went shopping - I got them some new school stuff - a bag and some shirts etc. It amazed me how excited mitchy was, he is really looking forward to going to BIG school with Matt. It scares me - my baby boy is growing up :( Spent lots of time with my cousin Nik - She is like a sister to me and i love her to bits - She has been a huge help to me in the past year too. We also went shopping on friday with my kids and she spoilt them rotten! They were loving it - They got a new toy and an ice-cream and donuts! Spoilt!!! Tonight i also went over to my friend Leas house for some drinks - She had a few other people over although i piked and left early cause my teeth and head were pounding - I ended up driving to a late night chemist and grabbing something for the pain cause i was out! Plus i have been doing the usual stuff - housework - trying to amuse the kids for holidays - scrapping and surfing the net!! LOL!

Well anyway - Think i might finish for now - I want to either go to bed or scrap a little bit before giving in and going to bed! LOL!! Thanks for dropping by!!

New Scrapping!!!

OK - I have some new scrapping to share finally!! They are all now stuck onto canvases and up on my walls in my house! I will have to take a pic of my feature walls!! LOL! I have a heap all in one corner of my house in my dining room - i really love how it looks - Love that i can have my scrapping up on the wall - and its a mixture of some older stuff and some newer. Better than sitting in my albums doing nothing! So what else have i gotten up to since i updated last? Have been visiting family quite a bit - Seen my dad and sisters, my sisters house, my cousins, my aunts! Ive also seen my friend Lea a few times! Having family time aswell - yesterday me, jono and the kids went for a cruise in our car and ended up out at Brighton Le Sands - Took some lovely pics!! Been shopping - I had to go and pick up a LO that was in last months SC mag from the post office over at Mac Square last week so i killed 2 birds with 1 stone and went in and exchanged the ring i got Jono for Xmas - It was to chunky for him and cut into him - so i got him a nice rounded one! Ran into my Aunties Deb and Kaz there too!! LOL!

I havent really been doing a lot - its school holidays so i have just been chilling out a bit - Hanging out with my cousin and sister - and their kids! Talkin on the phone lots!! LOL! I am totally addicted to facebook too - Thats a bit of a time waster!! LOL! And slowly am getting back into my scrapping. So the first LO is our family pic from when we decorated the xmas tree - I made it black and white so it didnt look too xmassy!! I didnt want to scrap it in xmas colours. I love this basic grey range - I have done a few pressies with this range and loved how they turned out!! The second one is a 6x12 canvas - Its got the words to mine and Jonos song on it! Love them pics of the both of us too. And last but not least - Mitchy - I had previously scrapped this pic but when i decided to put them on canvases i didnt like it - so i redid it - LOVE this one!!Wasnt he just soooo cute!! I miss my kids being that little - They grow up sooo fast! Well thats it for me for now - I do have some new photos to share - Try and do that in the next few days - Ive got dinner cooking so i should go check it!!  

New Year - Another post - FINALLY!!!

So it has been a very very long time since i posted - A lot has happened in my life - Me and Jono have been on and off a little bit trying to sort stuff out - Finally we are back on and sorting things out - Seems to be going pretty good so far too!! Me and the kids stayed at my Aunts house for about 4 months before leaving and having to live in emergency accomodation through dept of housing - which saw us living out at Appin hotel - Well that was an adventure thats for sure!! LOL!!! I hated the hotel - It was a complete dump - but as i could NOT get a rental - i applied for over 50 - i had to do with what i could get until dept of housing FINALLY came thru with a house!!! YAY!!! Which now sees us living at Macquarie Fields near Campbelltown - Which i have to admit - not the nicest area but it is a house!!! After being without a house for 6/7 months god it is nice having my own house again!! And the house is quite cute - small but cute!! It does us! I did make some really lovely friends out at Appin though - There was quite a lot of families out there in the same situation - the rental crisis is just insane at the moment!! One of my friends was also lucky enough to get a house across the road and around the corner from mine - so i am stoked to have a friend close by!! Ummmm what else has been happening - Not much scrapping or photography from me - Which i have been missing big time - especially now i am in a house and getting settled - i have started again but im finding it slow to get back into! Ooooh i did get to meet Heidi Swapp at Scrap loot a few weeks ago - OMG that was awesome!! She is one very inspiring woman!! Christmas - of course!! We all got spoilt this year (Have to thank Kevin Rudd for that government bonus for that one!!) It was a really fun, relaxing xmas this year!!! Very exhausting as well!! I have been sick on and off this year as well - and as a result have lost about 34kg now - Stress has played a HUGE factor in that one too - Now that im more relaxed im trying to get my strength and immune system back up but even just getting my periods is taking it out of me! Hopefully that will change this year - One of my goals is to get a bit more healthier!! LOL!! Well thats probably all the news i can really think of right now - I am gonna add a few pics - One of the kids - they have grown up soooo much!!! And one of me - i have lost quite a lot of weight - which u can see from the pic!!! Oh and one of my new kitten Angel and one of my new puppy Sabah - Promised the kids when we got a house we would get a pet - Matt wanted a dog, Mitch wanted a cat - I wanted both but couldnt decide so got both!! LOL!!! Hope everyone had an awesome xmas and has a fantastic new year!!! I will make it one of my goals to post on here a bit more often!! LOL!! I want to tidy it all up and get some new pics on here too!
